About
Adam Shrewsberry, M.D., is dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of general urologic conditions and specializes in minimally invasive techniques. His experience includes robotic, laparoscopic and endoscopic management of prostate, bladder and kidney cancers, as well as treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH/enlarged prostate) and kidney stones. Dr. Shrewsberry is also experienced in vasectomy and the treatment of erectile dysfunction and female incontinence.
Dr. Shrewsberry completed general surgery and urology postgraduate training at Emory University School for Medicine in 2014 and was the urology chief resident during his last year of residency. His honors also include the Outstanding Urologic Laparoendoscopic Resident Award for surgical excellence and the HOPE Award, presented to the top 1% of residents based on professionalism and congeniality as perceived by fellow physicians, both from Emory University.
Dr. Shrewsberry has published and presented numerous papers on a range of urologic subjects, including erectile dysfunction, kidney stones, kidney cancer and ureteral strictures. He has also published book chapters on benign prostatic hyperplasia and the minimally invasive treatment of ureteral tumors and strictures. He is a member of the American Urological Association, the Endourological Society, the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons and the Sexual Medicine Society of North America. Dr. Shrewsberry is certified by the American Board of Urology.
